APPLICATION DEVELOPER Position Overview: Outsystems Developer The OutSystems Developer, will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying web and mobile applications using the OutSystems low-code platform. This role requires collaboration closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, project managers, and other developers, to deliver high-quality solutions that meet business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Application Development: Design and develop responsive web and mobile applications using the OutSystems platform. Work with stakeholders to gather and understand business requirements, translating them into functional and technical specifications.
• UI/UX Design: Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create user-friendly and visually appealing interfaces.
• Integration: Integrate applications with various data sources and third-party services, ensuring seamless operation.
• Testing: Perform unit testing and participate in system and user acceptance testing to ensure the quality of the applications.
• Deployment: Manage the deployment of applications to various environments, including production, and ensure successful launches.
• Maintenance: Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing applications, addressing bugs, and implementing enhancements.
• Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and user guides.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest OutSystems features, best practices, and industry trends to continuously improve development processes.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience in software development. At least 2 years of experience with the OutSystems platform.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in OutSystems development. Strong understanding of web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SQL. Experience with RESTful and SOAP APIs for integration. Experience in handling injection (Sql, Js etc.) and Cross Site Scripting (XSS) Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
• Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Preferred Qualifications: Outsystems certification(s) (e.g., Outsystems Associate Developer). Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure). Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
