About the practice

At Atos, we are looking to hire a System Integration Lead Architect to join our Business Process Services (BPS) organisation, delivering end-to-end digital transformation programmes for some of the UK’s leading organisations.

As part of this role, you will support a large-scale pensions platform transformation, migrating from a legacy mainframe-based system to an Atos-managed pensions platform (Sapiens Consolidation Master). Alongside this, we are developing a modern, internet-facing customer portal to replace key elements of the existing platform.

These initiatives form part of a broader System Integration (SI) programme, where you will provide end-to-end technology leadership, ensuring the safe, controlled, and high-quality delivery of this complex transformation. The role spans programme delivery, testing, data migration, stakeholder management, operational services, and release governance, with full responsibility for technical architecture and delivery.

Where purpose meets career:

  • Lead a senior, high-impact role within a large-scale transformation programme, driving end-to-end system integration
  • Accelerate your career development through complex delivery, leadership exposure, and growth opportunities within Atos
  • Join a globally recognised, trusted brand, with access to internal mobility and long-term career opportunities across Atos

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide end-to-end technology leadership across the System Integration programme (Heritage & Portals)
  • Define and enforce architecture, engineering, and integration standards across delivery teams
  • Lead large-scale migration and transformation activities, including development, testing, and data migration
  • Establish and maintain governance frameworks for technical architecture and change management
  • Act as the senior technical representative in stakeholder forums, engaging with client leadership and partners

Skills we can’t do without

  • Proven experience leading large-scale system integration and transformation programmes
  • Strong background in enterprise architecture and complex application delivery environments
  • Experience within Financial Services or regulated environments
  • Demonstrated capability in technical governance, stakeholder management, and delivery leadership
  • Hands-on expertise in migration programmes (legacy to modern platforms)

Skills we'd like

  • Experience with Sapiens Consolidation Manager / Pensions Management Platforms
  • Knowledge of Pega platforms or similar CRM/workflow technologies

Additional Requirements

  • Candidates must be eligible to obtain and maintain BPSS clearance.
  • Location: Hybrid working model, with up to 3 days per week on-site in Edinburgh required.

Benefits

  • 25 days paid leave + National Holidays
  • Pension Scheme - contributions matched up to 10%
  • Private Medical Cover
  • Income Protection
  • Life Assurance
  • Flex Benefits Program
