Responsible for supporting the TruffleHog platform by ensuring system uptime, monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting. The role focuses on secret discovery, validation, and remediation support, along with managing scanner infrastructure and integrations. It also includes event management, stakeholder coordination, and providing ongoing operational support, training, and compliance with security and SLA requirements..
Key Responsibilities
Perform TruffleHog platform monitoring, ensure uptime, and manage scheduled maintenance with stakeholder communication
Conduct scanner infrastructure health checks and execute version upgrades across regions
Perform network/connectivity checks and troubleshoot infrastructure issues, including scan failures
Ensure DR/BCP compliance and maintain deployment and environment hygiene
Execute secret discovery scans, validation, and reporting to establish centralized secret inventory and risk register
Manage events, including true/false positive identification, assignment, and remediation validation
Assist in defining and implementing secret discovery and remediation guidelines in alignment with stakeholders
Support deployment, configuration, and integration of TruffleHog with various data sources
Provide support for remediation queries, ensuring adherence to SLAs and timely escalation when required
Deliver operational handovers, training, and ongoing support for tuning, updates, and issue resolution
Technical Skills
Basic hands-on experience with TruffleHog (scanning, monitoring, troubleshooting)
Familiarity with Git platforms (GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket)
Understanding of secrets detection and remediation processes
Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
Familiarity with Linux/Windows systems
Basic network troubleshooting (access, connectivity issues)
Experience in incident/event management and issue resolution
Basic scripting knowledge (Shell/Python) is a plus
Experience & Qualifications
2–4 years of experience in secrets management / data security / TruffleHog support
Hands-on experience in support, monitoring, and troubleshooting
Familiarity with Git repositories (GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket) and code scanning tools
Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and infrastructure
Understanding of secrets detection, data leakage, and remediation processes
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
Good analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
Soft Skills
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
- Ability to follow SOP-driven operations and escalation procedures.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends or holidays if required.
- Proactive learner and strong team player.
