As an Application Manager at Eviden, you are responsible for ensuring the effective functioning, management, and optimization of software applications within an organization. This versatile role combines technical expertise with organizational skills, enabling you to bridge the gap between IT and users. You play a crucial role in ensuring the availability, performance, and continuous improvement of our applications. 

 

What will you do? 

  • Application Management: 

  • Ensure applications remain available, up-to-date, and functioning properly. 

  • Monitor application performance and resolve issues (incident management). 

  • Implement upgrades and patches to improve security and functionality. 

  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: 

  • Act as the link between the IT department and application users. 

  • Understand organizational needs and translate them into IT solutions. 

  • Advise on the capabilities and limitations of applications. 

 

What do you bring? 

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in IT. 

  • Experience in stakeholder management. 

  • Strong project management skills to lead implementation or migration projects. 

  • Excellent organizational skills and efficiency. 

  • In-depth knowledge of the software development lifecycle. 

  • Experience in creating and managing budgets. 

  • Knowledge of application quality assurance and achieving agreed-upon Service Level Agreements. 

  • A strong mix of technical knowledge, communication skills, and organizational insight. 

  • Certification in one of the following:

               ITIL 

               Prince2 

               SAFe 

  • Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English, both spoken and written. 

 

Location: 

Hybrid work setup, 2 to 3 days per week on-site in the Antwerp area. The rest from home.
