We are looking for: Business Analyst (m/f) in Zagreb to join our team.
The job of a Business Analyst (BA) includes the analysis of business processes, data, and IT systems in order to improve operational efficiency and achieve strategic goals. BA acts as a bridge between stakeholders and technical teams, defining requirements, creating reports, and proposing solutions. You will be expected to drive the end‑to‑end analysis process from business process analysis (AS-IS), understanding business needs and shaping TO‑BE processes to collaborating closely with architects and developers on designing technically sound solutions and ensuring they are successfully implemented.
Requirements:
- Education: Diploma in business, economics, IT, or related fields
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in IT or enterprise environments
- Strong understanding of software development processes and ability to work closely with technical teams
- Proficiency in process modelling (BPMN, EPC) and requirements documentation
- Ability to translate business needs into technically sound, scalable, and implementable specifications
- Ability to maintain a broad, end‑to‑end perspective on the business and technical landscape when defining solutions
- Strong collaboration skills with teams responsible for other systems in the ecosystem to ensure seamless end‑to‑end integration of solutions
- Solid technical skills: SQL querying, strong Excel, familiarity with APIs, system integrations, and data flow
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and critical-thinking abilities
- Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder‑management skills
- Ability to manage complex requirements independently and provide clarity in ambiguous situations
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments
- Good communication skills in English (written and verbal) and Croatian are mandatory
