We are looking for a new colleague to join our existing team as Backend Java Developer in Zagreb (m/f)

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering
• 3+ years of experience in Java back-end development
• Good to have experience in Software-as-a-Service cloud-based software and application development, object-oriented fundamentals and design patterns

Additional requirements:

• Experience as an architect with compute, storage and networking platforms, or cloud-based software
• Experience in writing API and architectural specifications and technical artifacts
• Experienced with algorithms, data structures and coding problems
• Skilled in designing, implementing and operating highly scalable web services
• Experience with SQL and/or NOSQL
• Proven experience with writing backends for Web Applications, HTML and Java Script
• Experience with different frameworks/services such as S3, Kubernetes, Docker, Kafka, Spark, Redis, Terra Form, Ansible
• Experience with developing scalable systems, with elasticity of cloud-based applications
• Excellent problem solving and root cause analysis skills
• Experience working with diverse, cross-functional teams composed of both technical and non-technical members
• English minimum B2 level and Croatian native
