Test Automation Engineer (KIRO)

We are looking for an experienced Test Automation Engineer to join our team and work on a large-scale international project.
Hands-on experience with Kiro is a key requirement for this position.

In this role, you will build scalable test automation solutions, integrate automated testing into DevOps pipelines and use modern AI-assisted approaches to improve software quality, efficiency and automation coverage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Use Kiro to support AI-assisted test automation, including test generation, analysis and test data preparation.
• Develop and maintain automated tests using Java.
• Design scalable, reusable and maintainable test automation frameworks.
• Automate REST API testing using REST Assured and perform API validation with Postman.
• Develop and maintain UI test automation using Playwright.
• Integrate automated test suites into GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
• Execute regression, smoke, functional, API and integration testing.
• Analyze test execution results, report defects and maintain automation reporting.
• Collaborate with Developers, DevOps Engineers and QA teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Support shift-left testing practices and continuous quality improvement.

What we need:

• Practical experience with Kiro for AI-assisted software development, testing or test automation.
• Strong programming skills in Java and hands-on experience in test automation.
• Hands-on experience with REST Assured and Postman.
• Experience with Playwright for UI test automation.
• Experience with GitLab CI/CD pipelines and Git workflows.
• Understanding of how AI-assisted testing practices can be integrated into the QA lifecycle.
• Strong knowledge of STLC, test design and defect lifecycle.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• ISTQB Advanced Level Test Automation Engineer certification.
