Technical Data Migration Consultant - Oracle BRM v15

We are looking for candidate who will support German media company that operates a direct broadcast satellite Pay TV platform in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. It provides a collection of basic and premium digital subscription television channels of different categories via satellite and cable television.

The specialist will do BRM implementation integrated with Salesforce.

 Responsibilities:

• Design, plan, and execute data migration from staging environment to Oracle BRM v15 Cloud Native.
• Analyze BRM data structures and define mapping between staging and target schemas.
• Develop and optimize data extraction, transformation, and load (ETL) scripts and tools using PL/SQL, Python, or shell scripting.
• Validate data integrity, completeness, and referential consistency after migration.
• Implement data reconciliation, audit checks, and automated validation reports.
• Collaborate with BRM developers, DBAs, and environment teams to align on migration schedules and cutover plans.
• Conduct trial migrations, testing, and rollback simulations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data mismatches, performance, or schema incompatibilities.
• Document data migration strategy, data mappings, and validation results.
• Ensure adherence to Oracle BRM data model standards and migration best practices.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 5+ years experience in Oracle BRM or other billing platforms, with at least 2 years in data migration projects.
• Strong command of Oracle BRM data model, especially customer, billing, product and picing schemas.
• Proficiency in SQL/PLSQL, Unix/Linux scripting, Python, and data transformation utilities.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle databases in Cloud Native or OCI deployments.
• Proven experience in data validation, reconciliation, and migration automation.
• Knowledge of BRM utilities (pin_export, pin_import, PCM_OP utilities) for data handling.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
