Join Our Team as a Senior Ruby Developer!
We’re seeking a seasoned developer with a strong foundation in software engineering, agile methodologies, and building production-ready applications. As a Senior Developer, you’ll bring deep backend expertise—especially in Ruby on Rails—while also understanding the full stack to help shape robust, scalable solutions. If you thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and love writing clean, maintainable code, we’d love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and analyze backend software solutions in line with project plans and technical specifications
• Ensure high-quality software delivery and operational readiness
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications
• Collaborate with other teams to coordinate implementation plans and manage dependencies
• Provide technical support and mentorship within the agile team
• Take ownership of topics and drive them proactively
• Contribute to architectural decisions and problem-solving in a distributed environment

Requirements:

• 6+ years of experience as a software engineer
• In-depth knowledge of backend technologies, especially Ruby, Rails, ActionCable, and Node.js
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture, design patterns, and distributed systems
• Proven experience in designing RESTful APIs and web services
• Solid knowledge of public cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases (preferably PostgreSQL and Redis)
• Familiarity with container orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Good understanding of Git and version control workflows
• Experience with web technologies, including AngularJS
• Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
• Fluent in spoken and written English
• Comfortable working in a distributed team environment across Europe
• Familiarity with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence)
