As a Senior DevOps Engineer (m/f/d), you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining secure and scalable development, test, and production environments for software applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to enable seamless CI/CD processes and support cloud-native transformations.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Analyze technical requirements for DevOps pipelines, test, and production environments.
• Estimate efforts and present justifications for implementing test and production setups and DevSecOps pipelines.
• Create integration, installation, and configuration concepts for software applications.
• Develop strategies for modernizing applications (e.g., containerization, cloud migration).
• Perform hands-on tasks related to installation, configuration, and integration.
• Provide and maintain development, test, and production environments using DevSecOps practices.
• Automate infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines using Infrastructure as Code/GitOps principles (e.g., Git, Jenkins, SonarQube, Kubernetes).
• Document configurations and infrastructure changes using tools like Atlassian Confluence and Jira.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues across systems and components.
• Consult customers on performance, deployment optimization, and DevOps best practices.
• Collaborate closely with infrastructure and development teams in agile environments.
• Lead and coordinate integration projects and support customer go-lives.
• Advise on system provisioning, integration, and DevOps methodologies.
• Support offer preparation and tender processes, including PoCs, cost estimation, risk analysis, and customer presentations.
• Guide and coordinate small to medium-sized project teams (up to 10 people).
• Monitor market trends and emerging technologies.

Required skills and experience:

• Willingness to undergo an official security clearance.
• 4–8 years of experience as a DevOps or software engineer in Linux/Unix environments.
• Minimum 4 years of experience maintaining CI/CD or DevOps environments.
• 2+ years of experience with container technologies (Kubernetes/OpenShift/Docker).
• Hands-on with tools like Git, Bitbucket, Azure DevOps, GitHub Enterprise, Jenkins, Bamboo, Ansible, or Puppet.
• Experience operating applications in public or hybrid cloud environments.
• Experience mentoring junior DevOps engineers or leading technical tasks.

Nice to have:

• Background in Java software development.
• Familiarity with scripting languages: Python, Ruby, Groovy, etc.
• Experience with CI/CD monitoring tools: ELK/EFK, Dynatrace, Splunk, Prometheus.
• Understanding of agile methodologies (e.g., SAFe), design thinking.
• Test-driven development experience with tools like JUnit, Cypress.io, Cucumber.
• Familiarity with API management tools (e.g., 3Scale, Apigee).
• Red Hat OpenShift hands-on experience or Red Hat/Linux certifications.
• Understanding of security testing tools (e.g., OWASP, container security scanners).
