About the opportunity and Customer:

Eurocontrol is one of our key Customers in the Airspace Industry and has embarked on the multi-year journey of IT landscape modernisation to increase efficiency of the European Air Traffic Management systems.

Working as a part of the Eurocontrol delivery team you will be engaged in the delivery of cutting-edge IT systems supporting pan-European aviation and shaping the future of European Air Traffic Management under the most critical programme in European public sector area.

 

What will you do?

As a DevOps Engineer your main tasks are related to:

  • Setup and Configure custom Platform SW uses as enterprise platform in a complex ecosystem.
  • Support and guide the system and operations teams in understanding the systems internals, configurations, system components of the platform.
  • Support the testing team in identification of the right testing approach for individual system components of the platform.
  • Support Environment Management team in setup of the right target infrastructure for the platform in scope;
  • Perform any other task in line with the main purpose of the job.

  • Ability to work in complex ecosystem involving middleware/platform solution and consumption;
  • Strong technical depth in field of platform technologies, communication protocols especially for messaging and event streaming;
  • Champion in scripting (Python);
  • Worked in cloud based environments;
  • Technical stack: Openshift, Kubernetes, Solace, Vaulta, Python Scripts & Azure.
