Position Summary

Our team develops and manages a portfolio of our many customers’ software and solutions. We have built extensive pipelines to efficiently deliver our products to our end-customers and business colleagues. We have DevOps teams developing and maintaining our customers environments, applications and servers, and the roles of Kubernetes an OpenShift DevOps Engineers are crucial for our deliveries.

Based on your skills and expertise, together with your personal development plans we would suit the best role for you in this area. The best description of main tasks within the teams are:

  • Mid to long term system landscape planning along with productions and development environment maintenance with increasing focus on security, comprehensive monitoring solutions and process automation.
  • Work directly with infrastructure as code-based automation to manage the capacity of the overall platform and deliver new capacity and capabilities as necessary.
  • Configure and deploy OpenShift Enterprise master hosts
  • Configure and deploy OpenShift node hosts
  • Deploy the OpenShift Enterprise authentication
  • Manage OpenShift Enterprise resources
  • Use OpenShift Enterprise to deploy applications
  • Support of the system landscape composed of cloud and on-premise components.
  • Managing container tenant provisioning.
  • Analysis and resolution of complex technical problems and issues. Supporting wide aspects of systems engineering designing, architecture, troubleshooting, testing, and maintaining products.
  • Participation in release cycles of our deliverables by deploying code and interworking with designed CI scripts, frameworks and scaffolding software.
  • Technical solutions advisory.
  • Authoring and editing system documentation and playbooks.
  • Opportunity to research potential deficiencies and improve the solution applied adequately, according to recent state of the art and own experience.

The position will be in our well communicated offices in Wroclaw, Warsaw, Łódź, Bydgoszcz depending on your preferences. At initial stage of a project traveling to West European or Nordic countries for couple of weeks might be required in some cases.

Required and desired skills!

  • Proficient communication in English.
  • Significant experience in Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) environment and Kubernetes as container orchestrator for enterprise applications development.
  • Any other containerisation experience such as Docker will be advantageous.
  • Strong experience in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) administration will be desired advantage
  • Knowledge of CB/CI/CD/CT tools in a DevOps environment will be advantageous
  • Cloud solutions knowledge (AWS, Azure or Google Cloud) is a plus.
  • Experience in direct collaboration with end customer along with technical solutions preparations will be a desired advantage.
  • Experience in Java software development will be desired advantage.
  • Understanding structured test methods and software development processes.
