We are looking for an experienced Monitoring Architect to design, evolve, and govern enterprise‑grade monitoring and observability platforms, with a strong focus on Elastic Stack.

 

The role covers end‑to‑end architecture of monitoring solutions supporting large‑scale, distributed, and cloud‑native environments, ensuring high availability, performance, security, and operational excellence.You will work closely with application teams, infrastructure, DevOps, and security stakeholders to define monitoring standards and ensure observability by design across critical platforms.

 

Role and Responsibilities

  • Design and own end‑to‑end monitoring and observability architecture for enterprise systems and platforms
  • Architect and evolve solutions based on Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, Beats/Elastic Agent)
  • Define standards for logs, metrics, traces, dashboards, and alerts across applications and infrastructure
  • Translate business and operational requirements into scalable monitoring architectures
  • Ensure monitoring solutions meet non‑functional requirements: availability, performance, scalability, security
  • Integrate monitoring with cloud, container, and Kubernetes‑based platforms
  • Support incident, problem, and capacity management by providing actionable observability data
  • Collaborate with DevOps and SRE teams to embed observability‑by‑design in CI/CD pipelines
  • Provide architectural guidance, documentation, and best practices for delivery teams
  • Participate in customer and stakeholder workshops, presenting and defending architectural decisions 

 

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Monitoring Architect / Observability Architect / Senior Monitoring Engineer
  • Strong hands‑on knowledge of Elastic Stack (ELK/Elastic) in production environments
  • Experience designing monitoring for distributed systems, microservices, and container platforms (Kubernetes)
  • Solid understanding of logging, metrics, tracing, alerting, and dashboards
  • Experience with cloud environments (public, private, or hybrid)
  • Knowledge of non‑functional requirements and SLAs in enterprise systems
  • Ability to work in Agile / DevOps environments
  • Very good English (international project environment)
