Microsoft SQL Product Engineer

Join our team as a Microsoft SQL Server DBA! You'll be responsible for maintaining and administering Microsoft SQL databases and Azure infrastructure. Your role will include installing, configuring, and supporting systems, optimizing performance, managing data security, and automating processes. Collaborate with the Architecture Team to deliver high-quality services to our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and optimize Microsoft SQL Server databases.
• Design database architecture and provide expert advice.
• Install, upgrade, and maintain MSSQL databases and management software.
• Implement backup & recovery strategies.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks; optimize databases.
• Manage user access and data security.
• Conduct testing post-migration and in critical situations.
  
   

Requirements:

• Fluent in English and German (B2+ level)
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server (2000-2022) and SSIS, SSRS, SSAS.
• Knowledge of Windows Server, Azure, Active Directory, DNS, IIS.
• SQL and PowerShell scripting skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Experience with Azure SQL Database and Azure SQL Managed Instance.
