Atos is looking for an experienced Keycloak Expert (Subject Matter Expert) with a strong background in Identity and Access Management (IAM) to support a modernization initiative focused on designing and implementing a new authentication and authorization mechanism for existing application flows.

The role combines architecture design, hands-on technical leadership, and production-level implementation, including the integration of Keycloak-based authentication services into an enterprise infrastructure environment running on Red Hat Enterprise Linux.

You will work remotely as part of an international team, contributing to secure, scalable, and production-ready IAM solutions.

Role and Responsibilities

• Defining target IAM architecture and infrastructure for the new solution
• Designing and overseeing production-ready installation and configuration of Keycloak on Red Hat Enterprise Linux
• Configuring and integrating Keycloak with reverse proxy and API Gateway solutions
• Designing authentication and authorization flows for enterprise applications
• Preparing migration plans for existing authentication mechanisms, including risk assessment and mitigation strategies
• Advising on high availability, scalability, and operational best practices for Keycloak deployments
• Supporting integration with external identity providers and enterprise directories

Required Skills and Experience:

• Proven hands-on experience with Keycloak in Red Hat Enterprise Linux environments, including:
  • architecture design
  • installation and administration
  • realm and client configuration
• Deep expertise in:
  • Keycloak client configuration
  • token lifecycle management
  • system-to-system integration
• Experience with identity federation and LDAP integration (including directory queries)
• Solid understanding of SAML 2.0 and OAuth 2.0 / OpenID Connect (OIDC)
• Experience integrating Keycloak with reverse proxy and API Gateway solutions
• Strong knowledge of authentication and authorization flows
• Understanding of IAM architecture patterns and secure integration mechanisms
• Ability to communicate effectively in English while working remotely in an international environment

Nice to have:

• Experience with high-availability IAM setups and clustered Keycloak deployments
• Familiarity with enterprise security standards and best practices
• Experience supporting IAM solutions in large-scale or regulated environments
