What impact you can make:

Join our team as a DevSecOps Engineer and support us in developing and maintaining the Dataspace middleware platform. Your main responsibilities will include designing, building, maintaining, and deploying infrastructure and applications using automation and orchestration in cloud environments. Key technologies include Elastic Search, Kafka, PostgreSQL DB, Keycloak, and Java SpringBoot applications.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Deploy infrastructure as code and applications using automation and orchestration tools in both on-premises and cloud environments.
• Build and maintain GitLab CI/CD pipelines, including automated testing and vulnerability scanning.
• Monitor CI/CD builds, analyze trends, and implement performance improvements to build times.
• Create and deploy Helm charts.
• Design and implement changes for existing Integration Platforms.
• Troubleshoot and fix bugs as part of a 3rd-line support team.
• Apply patches to commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) products.
• Collaborate with vendors on incident resolutions through support requests.
• Engage with customers regarding operational issues and activities.
• Administer development and test environments.
• Participate in task estimation and planning.
• Develop technical documentation for changes and bug fixes.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field
• 2-3 years of experience as a DevSecOps Engineer, system administrator, or backend developer
• Strong proficiency with Linux-based operating systems and advanced command-line skills
• Scripting skills and GIT knowledge (Python, Bash, Groovy)
• Understanding of security standards, practices, and technologies
• Proficient in English
• Strong soft skills, including teamwork and client communication
• Familiarity with support processes, change management, and maintaining technical documentation

Nice to Have:

• Familiarity/experience with Kubernetes is very nice to have
• Experience with Elastic Search and Kafka
• Experience with Ansible and Terraform
• Experience in automating cloud deployments (AWS)
• Knowledge of system integration patterns
• In-depth understanding of high-availability concepts
