Position Summary

Application Specialist will be a part of our interdisciplinary skilled Technical Support Team. Will be engaged in application maintenance and change requests support based on ITIL. The main aim of the team is to execute supporting activities and routines related to applications and software base, software deployment, backup management and monitoring. Multi-level Incident and problem management for both software base and infrastructure services.

Scope of works

  • Incident management related to software and/or hardware infrastructure
  • Resolving of application related incidents - 2nd and 3rd level
  • Planning and undertaking scheduled maintenance upgrades
  • Software base initial installation and upgrades in application servers, database servers, operating systems, webservers, directory servers, commercial packages, etc.)
  • Application monitoring
  • Optional application bugfix development and/or testing and/or CR implementation

The position will be located in our well communicated offices Wrocław, Łódź, Warszawa, Opole, Bydgoszcz depending on your preference

What we are looking for!

  • Communicative English
  • German is a strong plus
  • Experience with MS SQL and/or Oracle databases
  • Experience in TSQL and/or PLSQL
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Windows servers including IIS, AD and Services configurations and installation
  • Knowledge of PowerShell scripting language.
  • Knowledge of C# .Net Framework and/or VB.NET (nice to have)
  • An understanding of integrated applications
  • Understanding of development lifecycles
  • Reliability and precision at work
  • Very good, open minded team players
  • Willingness to take initiative and responsibility
  • ITIL Certificate will be desired advantage
