We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Application Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in second-line support, possess a very good knowledge of the German language, and be willing to participate in on-call duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide second-line support for application-related issues, ensuring timely resolution.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
- Participate in on-call duties to provide after-hours support as needed.
- Document and escalate issues as necessary, maintaining thorough records in our ticketing system.
- Assist in the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of applications.
- Continuously improve support processes and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.
- Early and late work hours, servie time to be coverd by a team between 6am – 6pm, Mon-Fri including Polish public holidays.
- On-call duty 24/7 and once a quarter planed weekend work.
Required Qualifications:
- Proficiency in German (both written and spoken) is essential.
- General experience in IT, preferably in a second-line support role.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Eagerness to participate in on-call duties and provide support outside regular working hours.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with SAP FI or banking applications support.
- Familiarity with Linux and Windows operating systems.
- Additional IT certifications or relevant training.
- Knowledge of ITIL processes.
