Technical DevOps Engineer

We are looking for a Technical DevOps Engineer

Join our cross-functional team that develops and supports an international communication platform. The main focus is on the middleware platform, such as Oracle SOA Suite (OIM, AIM, OSB, OHS, etc.) and Axway Gateway. In the context of cloud migration, knowledge in AWS, VMWare Tanzu, and Kubernetes will be key for the future evolution of the platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Automating platform installation, configuration, and deployment using scripts.
• Troubleshooting and fixing platform issues as a 3rd line support team member.
• Applying patches for Oracle and Axway products.
• Collaborating with Oracle and Axway on incident resolutions via Support Requests.
• Engaging with customers for operational issues and activities.
• Administering development and test environments.

Requirements:

• Proactive attitude.
• Experience as an administrator or middleware (back-end) developer.
• Strong knowledge of Linux-based OS concepts and commands.
• Familiarity with DevOps concepts.
• Scripting skills and knowledge of Git (Bash required, Python, Groovy advantageous).
• Professional working proficiency in English.
• Programming skills in Java will be an added advantage.
• Experience with Oracle Middleware products is a plus.
• Experience with Axway Gateway is a plus.
• Knowledge of Ansible and Terraform is advantageous.
• Understanding of system integration patterns is beneficial.
• Familiarity with SOA concepts is advantageous.
• Good understanding of core ITIL processes (incident, problem, change, release) and maintenance of documentation standards.
• Willingness to engage in both Development and Operations activities.
• Capability of working in an international team.
