About the opportunity and Customer:
One of our key Customers in the Airspace Industry and has embarked on the multi-year journey of IT landscape modernisation to increase efficiency of the European Air Traffic Management systems.
Working as a part of the Eurocontrol delivery team you will be engaged in the delivery of cutting-edge IT systems supporting pan-European aviation and shaping the future of European Air Traffic Management under the most critical programme in European public sector area.
We are currently looking for experienced Performance Test Engineer
What will you do?
- Collaborate with architects and product owners to grasp non-functional requirements.
- Lead the development, implementation, and documentation of a robust, modular, and reusable non-functional and performance-testing framework.
- Implement performance test scripts using Locust and other groundbreaking tools.
- Conduct diverse performance testing types (e.g., Load, Stress, endurance) across On-Premises and Cloud architectures.
- Dive deep into root-cause analysis, pinpointing and logging performance issues and bottlenecks.
- Keep a watchful eye on performance metrics.
- Deliver impactful performance test reports for both internal and external partners.
Your future team:
Project Organization consists now of about a 100 people.
Significant part of it is your future team of test engineers with different specialization (manual testing, automation testing, performance) led by an experienced Test Manager, and yet – we are still growing!
We are all working remotely from different locations, and we are flexible when it comes to working hours.
From time to time we go to a trip in Europe, as a great opportunity to exchange knowledge and experience within international team and to exposure ourselves to wide and modern technology stack in the Customer portfolio.
Must have skills (demonstrable experience required):
- 3+ years of performance testing experience with backend, API/Web services applications.
- Proficiency and experience in the Locust tool.
- Advance Python programming experience
- Solid skills in performance analysis, including load, stress, and endurance testing. Familiarity with performance monitoring & diagnostic tools like Kibana.
- Proven understanding of messaging protocols and API technologies. Understanding of AIX or Linux/Unix Operating Systems. Knowledge of Networking Technologies, including load balancing and firewalls.
- Familiarity with DevOps tools like Bitbucket and Jenkins for test integration. Excellent analysis and problem-solving skills.
Nice to have:
- Completed university studies of 4 years (master’s degree) in a relevant domain (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology)
- Air traffic domain experience (Flight, Flow, Routing, Capacity planning) would be considered an advantage.
