Project Organization consists now of about a 100 people. We are all working remotely from different locations, and we are flexible when it comes to working hours. From time to time we go to a trip in Europe, as a great opportunity to exchange knowledge and experience within international team and to exposure ourselves to wide and modern technology stack in the Customer portfolio.

 

Who we looking for?

We are looking for an Solution architect observability to join our aviation project. This role requires minimum of 5 Role years of experience in designing and implementing observability solutions and occasional travel within Europe.

 

Role and Responsibilities

  • Design and implement a platform for mission critical applications.
  • Develop and document architectural solutions and designs for observability systems.
  • Ensure that observability solutions are aligned with the overall architectural principles and standards of the organization.
  • Create high-level and detailed design documentation, including architecture diagrams, data flow diagrams, integration schemas, configuration guides, and operational procedures.
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate observability systems into the overall platform.
  • Oversee the deployment, configuration, and optimization of observability tools and platforms.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development and operations teams on observability best practices and technologies.
  • Work closely with other Solution Architects, including those specializing in Azure, data, messaging, and infrastructure, to ensure cohesive and integrated solutions.
  • Collaborate with the infrastructure project team to align the design with the established cloud environment.
  • Collaborate with the security team to ensure that observability solutions adhere to security best practices and compliance requirements.
  • Ensure that observability solutions are designed for high performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Implement monitoring, alerting, and logging for observability systems to proactively identify and address issues.

 

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 Role years of experience in designing and implementing observability solutions.
  • Proven experience in architecture and design of complex observability systems, including monitoring, logging, and tracing.
  • Very good English skills.
  • Hands-on experience with observability platforms and technologies, including but not limited to ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, and Grafana.
  • Strong understanding of Application Performance Monitoring, Tracing and Observability architecture principles and best practices (such as instrumentation, tracing strategies, centralized logging, telemetry collection and processing, machine learning models for observability, etc.).
  • Experience with observability services deployed in cloud.
  • Knowledge of integration best practices for observability tools with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Experience with scripting and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform.

 

Nice to have:

  • Relevant observability-related certifications, such as Elastic Certified Observability Engineer or Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) with observability focus or equivalent, are preferred.
