Who we looking for?

We are looking for an Solution architect messaging platforms to join our aviation project. This role requires minimum 5 years of experience in designing and implementing messaging and integration solutions and occasional travel within Europe.

Role and Responsibilities

• Develop and document architectural solutions and designs for messaging and integration systems.
• Ensure that messaging solutions are aligned with the overall architectural principles and standards of the organization.
• Create high-level and detailed design documentation, including architecture diagrams, message flow diagrams, integration schemas, configuration guides, and operational procedures.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate messaging systems into the overall platform.
• Oversee the deployment, configuration, and optimization of messaging systems.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to implementation and operations teams on messaging best practices and technologies.
• Work closely with other Solution Architects, including those specializing in Azure, data, observability, and infrastructure, to ensure cohesive and integrated solutions.
• Collaborate with the infrastructure project team to align the design with the established cloud environment.
• Collaborate with the security team to ensure that messaging solutions adhere to security best practices and compliance requirements.
• Ensure that messaging solutions are designed for high performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Implement monitoring and alerting for messaging systems to proactively identify and address issues.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for messaging solutions, including architecture diagrams, configuration guides, and operational procedures.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in designing and implementing messaging and integration solutions Knowledge of application development, ideally JAVA Spring Boot.
• Proven experience in architecture and design of complex messaging systems, including message brokers, queues, and event streaming platforms.
• Very good English skills.
• Hands-on experience with messaging technologies, including but not limited to RabbitMQ, Kafka, Solace and Azure Service Bus.
• Proficiency in designing and implementing messaging patterns, such as pub/sub, point-to-point, and request/reply.#-#Experience with messaging services deployed in cloud.
• Knowledge of integration best practices and patterns, including API gateways, ESB, and microservices communication.
• Experience with scripting and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform.
• Strong understanding of messaging architecture principles and best practices.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and clear communication style.

Nice to have:

• Relevant messaging and integration-related certifications, such as Certified Kafka Developer or equivalent.
