Enterprise Architecture Consultant

About the Role

As part of the growth of our Consulting & Advisory practice, we are looking for an experienced Enterprise Architecture Consultant to help our clients shape their IT strategy, define enterprise-wide architecture frameworks, and successfully deliver large-scale transformation initiatives. In this role, you will act as a trusted Enterprise Architect, working closely with C-level executives, business leaders, and technology teams to align business objectives with technology capabilities. You will help organizations design target-state architectures, establish architecture governance, and drive strategic transformation programs across complex enterprise environments.

Your Responsibilities

As an Enterprise Architecture Consultant, you will:

• Develop and contribute to clients' IT and digital transformation strategies.
• Define and evolve enterprise architecture frameworks, governance models, and operating principles.
• Design target-state architectures and transformation roadmaps aligned with business objectives.
• Lead architecture assessments and audits to identify improvement opportunities and modernization initiatives.
• Establish and maintain architecture standards, principles, and best practices across large-scale organizations.
• Support clients in adopting modern architectural approaches, including cloud, microservices, APIs, event-driven architectures, and platform-based ecosystems.
• Evaluate the impact of strategic technology decisions on business capabilities, applications, data, and infrastructure landscapes.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate strategic objectives into actionable architecture initiatives.
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership teams during transformation programs and critical decision-making processes.
• Ensure solutions and projects comply with enterprise architecture standards and governance requirements.
• Facilitate architecture review boards, workshops, and strategic planning sessions.
• Contribute to business development activities, client engagements, and the expansion of our Consulting & Advisory capabilities.

What We Look For

Experience & Expertise

• Proven experience as an Enterprise Architect, Lead Architect, Principal Architect, or Enterprise Architecture Consultant within consulting or complex enterprise environments.
• Strong background in enterprise-wide architecture planning, governance, and transformation programs.
• Demonstrated experience working with senior business stakeholders and executive leadership teams.
• Proven experience in management consulting, IT consulting, or strategic advisory environments.
• Experience navigating large-scale and complex IT landscapes with hundreds of interconnected applications and services.

Enterprise Architecture Knowledge

• Strong knowledge of Enterprise Architecture frameworks and methodologies such as TOGAF, ArchiMate, or equivalent.
• Experience with Enterprise Architecture repositories and tools, ideally HOPEX.
• Deep understanding of architecture domains including business, application, data, and technology architecture.
• Familiarity with architecture governance practices, operating models, and decision-making frameworks.
• Understanding of modern technology trends including cloud platforms, APIs, microservices, integration patterns, and digital transformation approaches.

• Ability to understand not only what a client requests, but also the underlying business challenge they are trying to solve.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with pragmatic delivery recommendations.
• Skilled at facilitating discussions among stakeholders with competing priorities.

Communication & Leadership

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to explain complex architectural concepts and trade-offs to both executive and technical audiences.
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building capabilities.
• Confidence to challenge assumptions and influence strategic decisions.

Languages & Mobility

• Fluent English is required.
• French is considered a strong asset.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to support client engagements and consulting activities.
