Enterprise Architect – Global Logistics & Shipping

Ready to shape the future of global logistics and shipping? Join our client — a world leader in maritime transport and logistics — and play a key role in an ambitious digital transformation as an Enterprise Architect.

In this role, you will ensure alignment between business strategy and IT, drive architectural governance, and protect the integrity of a large‑scale enterprise architecture. You will define target architectures, assess business and technical impacts, and strengthen architecture as a strategic function across the organization.


What You’ll Do

  • Support 24 business domains in requirements gathering, scoping, and high‑level design across 4,500 applications, including 800 core systems.

  • Ensure smooth handover to solution architect teams for detailed design and implementation.

  • Drive enterprise transformation, governance, and risk management in line with strategic roadmaps.

  • Secure architectural decisions and ensure alignment between business objectives and technical solutions.

  • Maintain and develop the enterprise architecture repository (e.g. HOPEX) and document application interdependencies.

  • Perform impact analyses, pre‑studies, and deliver architectural recommendations.

  • Define target architectures, roadmaps, and capability / domain / system maps.

  • Lead Architecture Review Board (ARB) governance with IT and Business stakeholders.

  • Promote best practices, improve methodologies, and support cross‑team collaboration.

  • Impact assessments, risk/benefit analyses, and architectural recommendations.

  • Application maps, system diagrams, and business capability documentation.

  • Architecture roadmaps and ARB governance reports.

  • Optimized processes and consolidated best practices.


Who We’re Looking For

  • Experienced Enterprise Architect with a proven background in large, complex environments.

  • Strong communication skills in English (mandatory); French is an asset.

  • Solid knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks and tools, ideally HOPEX.

  • Strong analytical and strategic mindset with the ability to influence business and IT stakeholders.

  • SAFe, TOGAF, or ArchiMate certifications are valued but not required.

  • Openness to a long‑term engagement and occasional travel to France.
