BI Reporting Consultant

 

Job Description:

 

  • Designing, developing and maintaining business intelligence solutions
  • Designing and building complex BI reports, scorecards and dashboards, based on specifications as requested
  • Designing and delivering end-user training and training materials; providing technical support as necessary
  • Executing queries upon request for data
  • Presenting information through different visualization
  • Translating business needs to technical specifications
  • Creating tools to store data (e.g. OLAP cubes)
  • Conducting unit testing and troubleshooting
  • Evaluating and improving existing BI systems
  • Collaborating with teams to integrate systems
  • Suggesting new standards and solutions for providing high quality of delivered services
  • Be a team technical leader in BI solutions in Digital world

 

Skills we can't do without!

 

  • 3 years of experience in one of the following technologies: Tableau, Power BI, Microsoft BI, SAP Business Objects (Lumira, Webi, Crystal), Qlik View; experience in two technologies is a plus
  • experience in Qlick Sense
  • Experience in transformation from on premise solution to cloud like Azure, Google
  • Ability to develop dashboards / reports from multiple data sources; including data from live database connections
  • Ability to design new technical solutions to enhance existing reports and tools
  • Ability to draw conclusions, escalate issues and formulate recommendations
  • Experience in working with large datasets (hundreds of millions of rows) in different tools and presenting the information at multiple levels of detail (i.e. aggregated views that are drillable to granular levels)
  • Highly proactive, results oriented and capable of independent critical thinking and problem solving
  • Ability to work in a multifaceted, fast-paced environment, matrix organization
  • Superb communication skills to interact with Agile team members
  • Good English language is essential – spoken and written

 

Skills we believe are nice to have!

 

  • Experience with the Oracle database and/or PL/SQL
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes
  • Experience in SQL
  • Knowledge Cognos OR Jasper soft is an advantage
  • Understanding Modeling in a data warehouse
  • Experience working in one or more data platforms (e.g. Teradata, Hadoop, DB2)
  • Exposure to data analysis tools desired (R, Python, SAS etc.)
