Azure Cloud Solution Architect

As a Senior Azure Cloud Solution Architect, you will play a key role in transforming our client’s IT environment by designing and implementing modern solutions based on the Microsoft Azure platform. Your mission will be to build a scalable, secure, and best-practice-compliant cloud architecture that supports the development of an advanced hybrid environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, maintain, and publish architectural solutions aligned with enterprise and domain architecture frameworks.
• Lead technical discussions with stakeholders and provide guidance on technology choices.
• Translate complex technical challenges into clear, understandable concepts for various audiences.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams, cloud engineers, product managers, and domain architects.
• Provide architectural support during the design and implementation of solutions.
• Stay up to date with the latest Azure technologies and share knowledge with the team.
• Support other domain architects with your cloud expertise during digital transformation initiatives.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a cloud solution architect, including hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Higher education degree (HBO+/WO) in computer science or a related field.
• Microsoft Azure Architect certification (e.g., AZ-305).
• Experience designing and implementing Azure-based solutions using ARM Templates and Bicep.
• Proficiency in CI/CD, PowerShell, and infrastructure automation.
• Familiarity with Agile / SAFe environments.
• Knowledge of architectural frameworks such as TOGAF or DYA is a plus.
• Experience with Azure VMware Solutions is an advantage.
