The Application Engineer (C# .NET, Microsoft Azure Services) will be part of our skilled Technical Support Team. Responsibilities include application development and maintenance based on AGILE and ITIL processes, supporting activities related to applications and software, software deployment, bug fixing, backup management, and monitoring. It also involves multi-level incident and problem management for both software and infrastructure services.

We are looking for an experienced professional to develop and maintain applications using C# .NET and Microsoft Azure Services. This position is within our Technical Support Team, focused on providing innovative solutions in a collaborative environment.

Your Role and Responsibilities:

• Understanding technical and business requirements from End Users or Customers
• Programming defined project packages, such as designing, creating, and implementing solutions for complex problems
• Event, Incident and Problem management related to software and/or hardware infrastructure administration
• Managing application-related incidents at 2nd and 3rd levels, including bug fixing, development, testing, Change Request implementation and monitoring
• Planning and undertaking scheduled maintenance upgrades
• Initial installation and upgrades of software on application servers, database servers, operating systems, webservers, directory servers, commercial packages, etc.
• Develop and implement fixes for identified faults within the application
• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on the application, supporting new initiatives and enhancements

Required Skills and Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a software developer
• Excellent English communication skills – B2 level or higher
• Proficiency in C# .NET and ASP.NET programming languages
• Experience with MVC, .NET Core 
• Familiarity with SQL Server, including SQL scripting
• Knowledge of PowerShell and Windows Server
• Experience with Microsoft Azure services, including App Services, Function Apps, and Monitor/App Insights, Entity Framework, Azure DevOps
• Expert knowledge in designing solutions/systems, defining architecture, and creating code
• Technological knowledge of the architecture of web applications with databases

Nice to have

• Knowledge of GitHub
• Familiarity with YAML pipelines, Azure Resource Manager (ARM), Bicep
• Experience of .NET Blazor
• Familiarity with Oracle
• Knowledge of JavaScriptow, jQuery
