Transportation Solutions manages the global sales and business development of the Mission Critical Systems Department /MCS/ Transportation offering focused around telecommunication systems and oversees all related Business Development activities. He/she is responsible for growth of overall MCS business to the transportation market with focus on Rail and Metro market together with the MCS Solution Manager, focusing on promoting assigned offering into MCS’ strategic regions.

Your Tasks
•    Develop and expand the MCS business with transportation offering globally in close cooperation with respective Solution Manager (“portfolio owner”)
•    Drive offering to meet customer use case and market demands in close cooperation with MCS Solution Manager
•    Support the solution manager to provide requirements regarding product R&D as well as demand on partner and M&A /Merger & Acquisition/ to create compelling solutions 
•    Define and implement Go-To-Market strategy in close cooperation with regional Sales Manager and management
•    Support regional Sales and Partners in promoting and selling respective offering with solution und use case expertise in back-office as well as customer fronting
•    Responsible for initial qualification and guidance Rainbow process together with Solution Manager
•    Jointly agree on allocation of sales resources (account managers, offering specialists, bid managers, sales assistants) with regional Sales Manager and management
•    Manage end-to-end sales activities from pipeline to offer sign-off for assigned offering together with regional sales
•    Establish relationships with key industry executives at board level, positioning Atos as a thought leader and key innovative business partner
•    Guide regional unit on skilling and recruiting of sales


Your Profile
•    University degree – Degree in Engineering or Technology preferred
•    Minimum 5+ years of international sales management experience in the IT or telecom industry, efficient positioning & selling IT or telecom solutions to large customers directly.
•    Knowledge of Transportation market (ecosystem, processes, key business driver)
•    Very good technical understanding, preferably in communication technology
•    Fluent English with excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and collaborative skills, and the ability to communicate concepts to technical audiences
•    Understanding of complex issues, analysis, and solution competence
•    Willingness to travel – Europe, APAC, Middle East

The minimum annual salary for this position is € 52.220, - (full-time basis) Your actual annual target income will be determined in line with the market according to your qualifications and experience.
