Position Overview

Responsible for the effective delivery of tailored Microsoft 365 solutions, the Microsoft 365 Teams Administrator is central to the implementation of the suite’s apps and infrastructure.

 

What will you do as a Microsoft 365 Teams Administrator?

  • Administration of the Teams environments

  • Server administration (for Skype)

  • Team Foundation Server administration and incident analysis and resolution in collaboration with the application

  • Creation and maintenance of documentation and work instructions

  • Automating administration tasks and maintaining and improving security

  • Standby support

  • Conducting robust testing of a new application

  • Monitoring, Backup/restore & Disaster recovery

 

Skills & Experience

  • One to three (1-3) years experience in configuring, deploying, and managing Office 365 workloads that focus on efficient and effective teamwork, such as SharePoint (online, on-premises, and hybrid), OneDrive, and Teams.

  • Knowledge in Microsoft Teams troubleshooting of Production issues

  • Knowledge in Voice services, MS teams Enterprise voice skills is highly desirable

  • Candidate should have hands on experience in Microsoft Skype for business or Teams Support / Brings proven technical expertise in Lync, Skype for Business and Collaboration tools

  • Create/Update Microsoft Teams troubleshooting procedures

  • Demonstrates strong leadership skills.

  • Communicates clearly and effectively.

  • Works well with a team.

  • Is able to translate technical jargon into layperson’s terms for explanatory purposes.

  • Demonstrates ability to work and conduct research independently.

  • Manages time efficiently and multi-tasks effectively.

  • Is able to think and work quickly to remedy system shutdowns or serious software problems. PowerShell scripting

  • Good communication and troubleshooting skills

  • Good knowledge of English language
