Senior Data Engineer

What are your tasks:

• Monitoring, troubleshooting, and enhancing an OOP Python-based Data engineering prescriptive analytics solution running in a Cloud (Azure, AWS, or GCP) environment.
• Integrating the end-to-end data pipeline to ingest data from source systems to target data repositories, ensuring the quality and consistency of data is always maintained
•  Assessing and tuning pipeline performance and the performance and applicability of multiple tools against customer requirements

What do you bring with you:

• Direct experience of building data pipelines using Apache Spark (preferably in Databricks).
• Proficient in Python OOP (strong experience with Python for data engineering apps).
• Hands-on experience designing and delivering solutions using Azure (preferred) or other cloud providers
•  Experience with data ingestion/ETL (ADF or other ETL orchestration engines).
•  Programming experience in Scala or Python
• Proven experience working as a data engineer
• Highly proficient in using the Spark framework (Python and/or Scala)

Preferred, but not mandatory:

• SQL (any dialect).
•  Data science knowledge and experience.
• Knowledge in CI/CD (Azure DevOps)
