Senior Azure DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Azure DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing DevOps practices and infrastructure in Azure. You will work closely with development, operations, teams to streamline CI/CD processes, automate deployments, and optimize system reliability and scalability.

Key Responsibilities:

• DevOps Infrastructure: Design, implement, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure in Microsoft Azure to support application development and deployment.
• CI/CD Pipelines: Develop and manage Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or other relevant tools.
• Automation: Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep.
• Monitoring & Logging: Implement and manage monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions using tools like Azure Monitor, Application Insights, or Log Analytics.
• Collaboration: Work closely with developers and operations teams to ensure smooth integration of DevOps practices across the organization.
• Security & Compliance: Implement best practices for security, identity, and access management in Azure, ensuring compliance with organizational and industry standards.
• Performance Optimization: Analyze system performance and make recommendations for improvements in scalability, efficiency, and reliability.
• Incident Management: Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure or deployment issues, providing root cause analysis and implementing preventive measures.
• Documentation: Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of processes, workflows, and infrastructure configurations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer with expertise in Microsoft Azure and Azure Infrastructure
• Proficiency in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps or similar platforms.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes (AKS).
• Hands-on experience with monitoring and logging tools like Azure Monitor, Dynatrace
• Solid understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Knowledge of networking principles, including VNet configuration, load balancing, and firewalls.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on root cause analysis and resolution.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Azure certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
• Experience with hybrid cloud environments or multi-cloud integrations.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Background in application development or software engineering.
