SAP Solution Manager Consultant with ChaRM

We are looking for a skilled and experienced SAP Solution Manager Consultant with ChaRM to join our team, specializing in 2nd level support for SAP application management. The role involves supporting 21 applications. Your expertise will be critical in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of these applications.
Tasks and responsibilities:
- Incident Management: issues related to monitoring, logging, user management, and program errors. Handle tasks in Request Fulfillment, Problem Management, and Change Management.
- Application Maintenance: Perform preventive maintenance, manage software changes, and oversee software release processes.
- User Support: Provide assistance and support to authorized users.
- Collaboration: Work closely with application managers and other support teams to ensure seamless operations.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years in application maintenance and 2nd level technical support.
- Proven hands-on experience in one or more of the below listed applications: CCLM, IT Calendar, Technical Monitoring, Worksoft, CTS+, cCTS, Job Monitoring, DVM.
Technical Skills:
- General SAP System knowledge and understanding
- Operational SAP Transactions (st22 and more)
- Solman Administration, especially SAP Charm experience: phases, ticket analysis, job planning, RFC errors handling, CSOL and downgrade protection – must have
- Data Analytics basis
- IT System Architecture general understanding
- Familiarity with ITIL frameworks, with experience providing 2nd level support.
- Experience with ticketing systems (preferred)
Language Proficiency:
- English: Minimum B2 level (required)
- German: Minimum B2/C1 level – nice to have
Availability:
- Willingness to work within a service window from 6:00 to 18:00 CET
- Flexibility to take on on-call duties and occasional weekend shifts for release management, testing support, or other urgent needs.
