We are looking for a Network Architect in Operational Technology to join our team and help us audit, design, implement and maintain secure and reliable network solutions for our industrial systems. Your main tasks will include:

 

✓ Audit, design, implement and maintain network infrastructure for operational technology (OT) systems such as industrial control systems, smart grids, smart cities, etc. that require high levels of security, availability and resilience.

✓ Ensure network security, reliability and performance for OT systems that support critical functions and services such as power generation, water supply, traffic management, etc. by applying appropriate network protocols, encryption, authentication and firewall rules.

✓ Collaborate with OT engineers, IT staff and vendors to understand network requirements and specifications for OT systems and devices and provide network solutions that meet their needs and expectations.

✓ Troubleshoot and resolve network issues and incidents in a timely and efficient manner by using network diagnostic tools, logs and reports, and coordinate with relevant stakeholders to restore network functionality and service.

✓ Monitor and optimize network performance and availability using various tools and techniques such as network analysis, testing, tuning and configuration management.

✓ Document network architecture, configuration, policies and procedures for OT systems and devices, and maintain network inventory and documentation up to dateResearch and evaluate new network technologies and solutions for OT systems such as wireless, cloud, edge computing, etc. and conduct feasibility studies and pilot projects to test their suitability and benefits.

✓ Provide training and guidance to network staff and users on network best practices and standards for OT systems and ensure compliance with network policies and regulations.

 

                                                               To be successful in this role, you should have:

 

Qualifications

 

✓ A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience

✓ Basic understanding of ITIL working practice

✓ Proficient in English (talking and writing as we are an international team) - B2/C1 level. Experience

✓ At least five years of experience in auditing, designing, implementing, and maintaining network infrastructure and security for industrial control systems (ICS) and operational technology (OT) environments.

✓ Knowledge of OT protocols such as Modbus, DNP3, IEC 61850, OPC UA, and MQTT, and their integration with IT systems and cloud services

✓ Familiarity with OT specific devices such as programmable logic controllers (PLCs), computer numerical control (CNC), remote terminal units (RTUs), human machine interfaces (HMIs), distributed control systems (DCS), supervisory control and data acquisition system (SCADA), industrial internet of things (IIoT) devices

✓ Familiarity with IT-specific network devices such as switches, routers, firewalls, gateways, and wireless access points, and their configuration and management

✓ Ability to perform network analysis, troubleshooting, and optimization using tools such as Wireshark, Nmap, Nessus, and SolarWinds

✓ Experience with Cyber-Physical Systems as Claroty Platform

✓ Experience with network security standards and best practices such as NIST 800-82, IEC 62443, ISA 99, and CIS Controls for ICS

 

Nice to have

 

✓ Certification in network technologies such as CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, or CompTIA Network+

✓ Certification in network security such as CISSP, GICSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+
