Join our team as a German-speaking Linux System Administrator, where you will play a crucial role in installing and configuring operating systems, maintaining stable production environments and efficiently resolving system-related support tickets to ensure smooth operations.

What will you be doing:

• Engage in transition projects and assist in implementing client requirements;

• Customize and create technical documentation, reports and updates for customers, technical administrators and management;

• Conduct independent analysis and resolution of technical issues and errors;

• Manage incidents and problems by identifying common issues, responding to inquiries and disruptions and initiating problem management. This involves coordinating problem records, collaborating with relevant stakeholders and actively participating in workarounds to develop appropriate solutions and document the problem records.

• In change management, coordinate necessary changes with involved parties and independently create change requests according to our processes, primarily focusing on updates, including hardware extensions and software upgrades.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Linux (RedHat, Suse, and Oracle Linux);

• Experience with AIX (OS, hardware, and logical partitions);

• Strong teamwork skills, customer orientation, flexibility and mobility.
