Junior HPC SysAdmin A High-Performance Computing (HPC) support engineer plays a vital role in maintaining and optimizing computing environments, which are used by research institutions, industries, and organizations for tasks that require significant computational power, such as scientific simulations, large-scale data analysis, machine learning, and engineering computations.

 

Responsibilities:
• 1st and 2nd level support on Linux servers.
• Installation of regular patches for OS and Applications.
• Management of the IT infrastructure (computing power, network, firewall, VPN, storage) using Ansible, Puppet scVenus, Slurm, and SC5.
• Server installation, deployment, configuration & troubleshooting.

• Perform problem analysis and documentation, root cause analysis, and logs analysis for hardware and software issues.
• Understanding of Apache Tomcat and Nginx, general concepts.
• User Management and managing rights.
• Creation and maintenance of operational documentation. Required Skills:
• Knowledge about Linux OS Systems (CentOS, Redhat)
• Scripting skills programming for automation (BASH, Python)
• Networking fundamentals.
• Troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to prioritize events & tasks.
• Open to work in an agile environment.
