Role definition:
The Global Price Analyst is responsible for the overall quality of the Global Price Analytics database, attached tools, processes and output.
It ensures that the data collected for a deal and/or for an offering, meets the standards to be included in the GPA Database and is physically and logically correct. 
There will be a close communication with the Deal data Coordinator and Solution experts / deal team members to solve arising issues.
The Global Price Analyst is continuously executing tests according to a test plan to assure physical and logical correctness and consistency of data fields, across the database, functional operation of database and input interface, quality of provided output.

Pre-Sales KPIs:

• Up to date and High-quality Database
• Standard cost elements coverage / Portfolio

Main responsibilities:

• Create new standard prices, in coordination with Solution architects, using the existing service specific cost model templates (MRPs)
• Execution of continuous tests according to a test plan across the database to ensure consistency and correctness of data, functional operation of database and input interface as well as the provided output
• Documentation of test execution and test results.
• Modification of test approach if required and obtain approval
• Power BI Expert, maintain a database and develop visualization templates for presales
• Conduct internal and external research and analysis across a wide range of pursuits for to generate results around deal pricing, competitive pricing analysis & benchmarking.
• Actively maintain a robust database of pricing – both internal and external to be able to gather a critical mass for supporting and suggesting optimal deal pricing to the Deal Teams in the long run. 
• Should be able to build pricing models for on-going deals 
• Global Price Analytics tools, processes, and procedures in high quality.
• Provision of suitable and correct pricing information out of a database serving as basis for the derivation of prices for customer bids.

Minimum relevant experience:

• Understanding of IT services market prices, understanding of the key price driver, cost modelling and pricing structure of IT services and its components (1-3 years)
• Candidates can understand and quickly assimilate complex technical terms
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Languages: English Mandatory, preferable also German and/or French
• Broad technical knowledge of infrastructure, cloud and digital workplace services and experience in IT Outsourcing services and solutions
• Experience in deals and customer requirements
