Senior Data Engineer

What are your tasks:
•Monitoring, troubleshooting, and enhancing an OOP Python-based Data engineering prescriptive analytics solution running in a Cloud (Azure, AWS, or GCP) environment.
•Integrating the end-to-end data pipeline to ingest data from source systems to target data repositories, ensuring the quality and consistency of data is always maintained
•Assessing and tuning pipeline performance and the performance and applicability of multiple tools against customer requirements

What do you bring with you:
•Direct experience of building data pipelines using Apache Spark (preferably in Databricks).
•Proficient in Python OOP (strong experience with Python for data engineering apps).
•Hands-on experience designing and delivering solutions using Azure (preferred) or other cloud providers
•Experience with data ingestion/ETL (ADF or other ETL orchestration engines).
•Programming experience in Scala or Python
•Proven experience working as a data engineer
•Highly proficient in using the Spark framework (Python and/or Scala)

Preferred, but not mandatory:
•SQL (any dialect).
•Data science knowledge and experience.
•Knowledge in CI/CD (Azure DevOps)
