Cyber Resilience Subject Matter Expert

Job description:

• Provide expert guidance and technical contribution on infrastructure and platform design and configuration, cybersecurity and resilience strategies.
• Ensure that project activities align with EU regulations, best practices, and emerging threats.
• Contribute to the design, implementation, and evaluation of cyber-resilience components (e.g. Infrastructure Security Architecture, Platform Hardening & Resilience).
• Contribute to technical deliverables, including risk management plans, incident response protocols, and compliance reports.
• Collaborate with consortium members, technical teams, and external experts to ensure secure and resilient digital infrastructures.
• Conduct threat assessments and resilience gap analyses.

Skills and Certifications:

Key Skill Sets: 

• Expertise in infrastructure and platform design and configuration, cybersecurity, risk management, resilience planning, scripting.
• Proficiency with tools like Metasploit, Burp Suite, Wireshark, or Nessus. 
• Familiarity with frameworks like NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS controls. 
• Incident detection, response, and forensic analysis skills. 
•   6+ years of experience in relevant fields 

Other Skills/Certifications: 

• Cloud security expertise (AWS, Azure, GCP). 

• Strong understanding of network security and firewalls. 

• Scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash, or PowerShell). 

• Communication and training skills for non-technical audiences. 
• CISSP/CISM/CISA/CCSP, Security+ certifications are nice to have.
