A CERT Engineer is a cybersecurity expert with over 5 years of experience. They are recognized as role models within the organization, demonstrating values and behaviors that positively contribute to the organizational culture. The role involves working in the Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT), focusing on Digital Forensics and Incident Response (DFIR), Threat Intelligence, and Threat Hunting.

Responsibilities:

  • Investigate and remediate security incidents and threats within the customer’s business and assets.
  • Perform advanced diagnosis and remediation planning on security incidents.
  • Conduct advanced digital forensics and data recovery.
  • Produce detailed incident reports and technical briefs.
  • Interface with customers and serve as a cybersecurity Subject Matter Expert (SME).
  • Work on service development and liaise with other cyber threat analysis entities.
  • Manage and lead high and critical security incidents.

General Skills and Qualifications:

  • In-depth Security Experience and Knowledge: Extensive experience in cybersecurity, particularly in incident response and digital forensics.
  • Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze complex security incidents and develop effective remediation plans.
  • Experience with Incident Response and Forensic Tools: Proficiency in using modern incident response and forensic tools.
  • Good Interpersonal skills, ability to communicate effectively with team members and customers.
  • Desire to learn, improve and stay updated with the latest cybersecurity trends and technologies.
  • Language proficiency: English (C1 level); German and/or French is a plus.

 

Required Technical skills:

  • Basic Penetration Testing Skills
  • Windows Forensics Analysis
  • Linux Forensics Analysis
  • Cloud Forensics Analysis (with a focus on Microsoft Azure)
  • Knowledge of the most advanced and new threat actor’s tactics, techniques and procedures.
  • Incident Response Frameworks
  • Memory Forensics
  • Advanced Network Forensics and Analysis
  • Malware analysis
  • Strong experience with at least an EDR solution
  • Strong experience with at least a SIEM solution
