We are searching for a passionate Accountant Specialist, within Atos Romania Finance Department, working on specific accounting, controlling, tax and treasury projects and in close cooperation with business responsible to advise on a wide variety of finance topics; reports to the country Head of Finance and is focused on adding value to local business and Atos Group.

 

Professional skills
•    Experience required (3-5 years) in an Accounting or Controlling role;  
•    Experience in a Treasury department would be a plus; 
•    Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics;
•    Good knowledge of National Financial Reporting Standards, IFRS and tax regulations; 
•    Ability to absorb new accounting, commercial and business concepts quickly, and work with them; 
•    Demonstrate a responsible, disciplined and analytical approach, even under pressure; 
•    Good inter-personal skills and ability to handle tasks on their own or with minimum supervision, ability to work in a team; 
•    Proficient in English; 
•    Proficient with Excel;
•    Knowledge of Power Query or Power BI would be a plus.  

 

What will you be doing
•    Contribute to the management of ledgers, postings and provisions, maintain accounting books and records in accordance with the Romanian Accounting Standards, Fiscal Code, IFRS and Atos Group policies; 
•    Prepare and coordinate consolidated cash flow view at region level for Group;
•    Prepare monthly/quarterly or annual financial reporting and management reports for one or more business departments according to statutory regulations and corporate accounting policies;  
•    Coordinate with business departments to ensure the quality of reporting;
•    Communicate with auditors, tax and other government authorities;
•    Participate in the Tax compliance processes;
•    Finance governance – monitor the accurate application of appropriate Finance policies, highlight any operational risk occurring from business events and anticipate the risks; 
•     Assist to the implementation and deployment of new processes, systems and standards;
•    Prepare asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information;
•    Document financial transactions by entering account information;
•    Reconcile accounts payable and receivable;
•    Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings and internal controls;
•    Compute taxes and prepare tax returns;
•    Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements.
