We are proposing a fully Remote role to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for design and implementation of security strategy, architecture and platform, compliant with security standards and best practices
• Responsible for ensuring necessary security controls are part of technical designs and architecture
• Participates in security governance processes
• Participates in IT security efforts across all business areas and client groups
• Participates in the evaluation, selection and implementation of technology solutions
• Provides technical guidance to less experienced security architects and engineers
• Work on tools and practices that allow reuse of design components and patterns between projects
• Participates on project teams contributing input with regard to security standards and the impact to technology
• Conducts post-event reviews of security incidents

Qualifications

• Strong background in security architecture, security design and defining security frameworks.
• Strong understanding of network security, system and application security, and data security.
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud security architecture and security engineering tools and frameworks, familiarity with AWS Well-Architected Framework Security pillar and AWS Security Reference Architecture.
• Experience with some of the following AWS security areas: Identity and access management (IAM, IAM Identity Center, Organizations), threat detection (Security Hub, GuardDuty, Inspector, Config), network and application protection (Network Firewall, WAF, Firewall Manager), and data protection (Macie, KMS, CloudHSM, Secret Manager).
• Familiarity with DevOps practices.
