Technical Expert III

Oversight and management of various business processes and functions, including, but not limited to, project coordination, supply logistics including shipping and receiving of various computer hardware components and systems, customer relationship management, support vendor relationship management, day to day operations of the support processes in the geographical area.

Assist on project implementations or support engagements.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related field. Five (5) years of experience in a technical IT occupation supporting large enterprise level hardware and software infrastructure systems.

Five (5) years of experience in a technical IT occupation supporting large enterprise level hardware and software infrastructure systems must include: Three (3) years of experience leading teams or business processes. Experience must also include: Large High Performance Computing (HPC) environments; Experience in hardware diagnosis and repair; Operating systems: Linux, Windows, and AIX; ITIL and related ITSM frameworks; HPC concepts: SLURM, Ansible, RedHat Cluster, Lustre, Mellanox and Cisco switches; Server hardware concepts; CPU/Motherboard/Memory/Disk/etc. replace/repair; and BIOS and Firmware updates.

ROVING/TELECOMMUTING EMPLOYEE: Reports to company headquarters in Plano, TX. Will work at various unknown client sites throughout the U.S. for up to 100% of the time. Must be willing to travel anywhere in the U.S. and may be assigned to work at client sites across the U.S. Can work remotely or telecommute.
