A Solution Architect within Atos primarily acts as the technical expert in bid or development projects, translating customer requirements into a solution for a subset of the overall solution. Secondarily a Solution Architect assists Strategy and Growth with regards to new propositions, PoC’s and MvP’s and support current portfolio items. As such, you as a Network Solution Architect will perform in several activities. Willingness to travel is essential.

Your role as a Network Solution Architect
We are looking for a Network Solution Architect to work on internal and customer solutions. This position provides you with autonomy, flexibility and of course enough challenges to learn and develop your professional as well your personal skills. 

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Own and manage Network and Security portfolio.
• Responsible for solutioning and designing networks. Active participation in bids.
• Working towards completing network designs and implementation
• Engage with customers to understand their business challenges and requirements and help the 
• customer’s design & implement new methodologies and IT service frameworks and maximize the business around network portfolio.
• Keeping architectural records and proposing / substantiating (business case) improvements / new functionalities

Skills we like you to have: 

• At least 3 - 5 years of experience in technical commercial role in networks
• Knowledge of networking technologies IPv4 and IPv6 networks, DCLAN, Software Defined Networking and Intent-based networking (IBN)
• Knowledge of network solutions in cloud-controlled WiFi networks, such as Cisco Meraki and Juniper MIST.
• Knowledge of Cisco and Juniper network products and related technologies. Including security products.
• Knowledge of (Next-Gen) Security services such as Checkpoint and Palo Alto firewalling
• Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort with both large and small audiences
• Prior work experience in a consulting/architecture position within software & services company 
• Takes ownership and shows commitment, team player with an open mind and positive attitude.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication. Work with business and technology stakeholders and translate business problems in technical designs.
• Certifications in Cisco network technologies.
• Key interest and knowledge in (network) automation
• Fluent in English
