Role Overview:
We’re looking for a detail-oriented and analytical NSC Analyst – Surplus Lines Support to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring surplus lines insurance transactions are processed accurately and in full compliance with regulatory standards. The main responsibilities will include:
Compliance Management:
- Ensure all surplus lines transactions meet state and federal regulatory requirements.
- Stay up to date with changes in surplus lines laws and help implement process updates.
- Prepare and submit required filings and documentation to regulatory bodies.
Transaction Processing:
- Review and process surplus lines insurance submissions with accuracy and efficiency.
- Collaborate with branch teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure smooth workflows.
Documentation & Record Keeping:
- Maintain organized, audit-ready records of all surplus lines activities.
- Ensure all documentation is complete, accurate, and accessible for internal and external reviews.
Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency.
- Participate in training sessions and contribute to knowledge-sharing within the team.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and insurance-related platforms.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Clear and professional communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Nice to Have (but not required):
- 2+ years of experience in surplus lines insurance or a related field.
- Familiarity with surplus lines compliance and regulatory frameworks.
