Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Azure Cloud Engineer to join our team and drive the design, implementation, and management of cloud-based solutions using Microsoft Azure services.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with various Azure services, including Function Apps, WebApps, Front Door, and more, and will play a key role in ensuring the scalability, security, and reliability of our cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Cloud Infrastructure Design and Implementation

o Develop, deploy, and manage Azure resources using Bicep and Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

o Build and maintain scalable and secure virtual networks (VNets) and configure DNS zones for efficient resource communication.

2. Application Development and Management o Deploy and manage Function Apps, Static Apps, WebApps, and Container Apps for hosting applications and APIs.

o Integrate Azure Front Door for enhanced application performance and security.

3. Data Management o Design and manage SQL Server instances and Storage Accounts for data persistence and retrieval. o Ensure compliance with FHIR (Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources) for healthcare-related data applications.

4. Integration and Event-Driven Architectures

o Set up and manage Logic Apps and Event Hub for workflows and event-driven solutions.

o Configure API Management (APIM) for API gateways, ensuring secure and scalable API integrations.

5. Security and Compliance o Implement and manage Azure Key Vault for secure storage of secrets, certificates, and keys.

o Apply and enforce Azure Policies to maintain governance and compliance across the Azure environment.

6. DevOps and CI/CD Pipelines o Utilize Azure DevOps (ADO) to automate deployments and streamline development workflows.

o Manage CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous integration and delivery of Azure resources and applications.

7. Monitoring and Optimization

o Monitor application and infrastructure performance, implementing optimizations where necessary.

o Collaborate with teams to identify and address bottlenecks in Azure-hosted environments.

Qualifications Required Skills and Experience: ·

Proven experience with Azure services, including Function Apps, WebApps, Container Apps, and Logic Apps. ·

Proficiency in Bicep and/or Terraform for IaC deployments.

Hands-on experience with VNets, DNS zones, and Azure Front Door. ·

Knowledge of SQL Server, FHIR, and data storage solutions. ·

Expertise in Azure Key Vault, Event Hub, and APIM. ·

Strong understanding of Azure Policy and compliance frameworks. ·

Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) for CI/CD pipeline development and deployment.

Preferred Skills: ·

Azure certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect, Azure DevOps Engineer, or similar. ·

Knowledge of healthcare data standards like FHIR is a plus.

Strong scripting skills (e.g., PowerShell, Python, or Bash).

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
