Role Overview
We are looking for a Tactical Buyer to support procurement operations by ensuring efficient execution of purchasing activities and smooth material supply.
In this role, you will manage purchase orders, coordinate with suppliers, and resolve operational issues, while ensuring cost efficiency, data accuracy, and compliance with internal processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage purchase orders (POs) in line with demand and supplier agreements
- Communicate orders, updates, and forecasts with suppliers
- Monitor order confirmations and ensure timely acknowledgment (within agreed timelines)
- Track deliveries and manage order backlog
- Ensure SAP reflects accurate and up-to-date supplier information
- Analyze discrepancies between orders and confirmations and resolve them
- Support material planning and stock updates with suppliers (pull/push/cancel)
- Resolve delivery, invoicing, and supplier-related issues
- Escalate issues when needed and follow resolution processes
- Monitor KPIs and ensure service level commitments are met
- Ensure data accuracy, process integrity, and compliance
- Contribute to process improvements and documentation
What You Bring
- 1+ year of experience in Procurement / Supply Chain / Operations
- Good understanding of logistics and material flow
- Experience with SAP (nice to have)
- Good Excel skills (nice to have)
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
- Problem-solving mindset and proactive approach
- Ability to work under pressure and manage priorities
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Customer-oriented mindset
Languages
- English (professional level)
- French is a plus
