Acting as a primary point of contact, the LSS supports a designated business area with specialist L&D subject-matter expertise. They define a training plan agreed with key business stakeholders & delivers that plan by means of effective deployment of learning programs. They steer specific learning programs, from initial concept to outcome evaluation ensuring that business requirements are met at an agreed cost, in line with the training roadmap. They will take ownership of specific, global and transversal Programs and/or Academies.


Desired profile:

The Learning Services Specialist will be responsible for the promotion and deployment of strategic training programs for Atos employees within the designated defined business area. They will manage training demand and the Service Line and/or GBU specific training catalogue in line with organisation and business requirements. This will be seen to deliver an end-to-end L&D service.


The LSS will take ownership of a specific category of training (Generally a Global, transversal program or academy) and will develop and manage this according to the roadmap agreed with the L&D leadership team and service line direction. This activity includes specification, design, sourcing and deployment of the training and certification programs. They ensure the execution of subsequent evaluation and continuous improvement loops.


  • Build and execute annual training plan (incl. target setting);
  • Promote & deploy the company training programs at defined business area level (Manage execution of training calendar);
  • Manage training demand & training catalogue;
  • Manage the training budget;
  • Manage or liaise with training Master Service Providers (where relevant);
  • Maintain contacts with country-based or international authorities regarding training subsidies/funding & financial/fiscal requirements where appropriate, & aided by back office.


Preferred skills:

  • Proficient skills in English - C1 or above;
  • HR or other appropriate qualification and interest in HR development (training policy, training engineering, consulting, etc.) will be considered as a strong advantage.
  • Good working knowledge of corporate Microsoft applications;
  • Basic experience in designing, deploying and leading training programs;
  • Working experience in sophisticated, culturally diverse environment;
  • Team spirit, flexibility and positive approach to dealing with change;
  • Fast learner demonstrating dedication to deliver results;
  • Confident and responsible communicator who can optimally run interactions with senior management level staff.
