Join the dynamic accounting team of RBU Southern Europe as an IFRS Expert. In this role, you will play a crucial part in implementing accounting principles and methodologies across the Group, ensuring compliance with international accounting standards (IFRS). Collaborate with diverse business units within the Group, including internal audit, internal control, pre-sales, and management control, to enhance financial processes and reporting.
Job Responsibilities:
· Review complex accounting transactions and prepare position papers.
· Collaborate with other departments (pre-sales, sales) and validate key positions.
· Ensure the accurate application of IFRS standards and contribute to the implementation of accounting policies within RBU Southern Europe.
· Stay updated on changes and trends in IFRS reporting to ensure the team remains informed and aligned with industry standards.
· Focus on specific standards such as IFRS 15 (Revenue Recognition), IFRS 16 (Leases), IAS 38 (Intangible Assets).
· Actively participating in the month-end closes and quarterly financial reviews.
· Conduct in-depth analyses on current Group Accounting topics and provide expert guidance to auditors on interpretation points.
· Play a pivotal role in the development of internal trainings, sharing expertise to enhance the team's capabilities.
· Facilitate effective collaboration with external and internal auditors, ensuring the smooth and successful execution of the audit process.
Job Requirements:
· BS/MS in accounting/auditing or a DSCG graduate.
· 5+ years in a similar position in an international group or Big 4.
· Experience in a shared service center environment.
· Excellent analytical skills.
· Flexible, good interpersonal skills, and a team player.
· Good knowledge of Excel and SAP.
· Proficient in both English and French
