For our Global Business Services Center (GBSC), located in TSUM Business Center, we are looking for a Head of Finance Operations, BNN

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Accounting team management in onshore and offshore locations, including overall supervision and responsibility over the bookkeeping activities of the BNN entities
  • Remotely managing a large and geographically dispersed accounting team in onshore, nearshore and offshore locations by recognizing and appreaciating cultural differences among people
  • Coordination, supervision and responsibility for month-end close reporting for Group consolidation purposes, as well as management reporting to local and group management
  • Responsible for entity compliance with internal control environment, local accounting and tax regulations and requirements, closely cooperating with internal control and external auditors
  • Acting as a subject matter expert within the BNN Finance organization and the first line of escalation for any IFRS related queries
  • Preparation and validation of position papers regarding IFRS treatment of revenue recognition, contract assets and liabilities, loss provisions
  • Identification and resolution of General Ledger problems within their specific area of concentration including balance sheet reconciliations
  • A high level of interaction with different Geo/Offshoring teams/in-country departments, incl. Client Service, Controlling, HR, Procurement, Order Processing, Asset & Liability Management, etc.
  • Performing analytical reviews of specific areas of responsibility as part of the overall Finance review & reporting
  • Driving and supporting change activities within the wider BNN business as pertaining to Finance

 

Job requirements:

 

  • Chartered Accountant Certificate, Master’s degree in Finance/Accounting or MBA preferred
  • Experience with SAP FICO
  • Experience on similar position in the multinational organization
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving approach
  • Stakeholder management
  • Experience in cooperation with Shared Service Centers
  • Experience in team management and teamwork oriented
  • Ability to act independently and take responsibility
  • Fluent English is required.
