Job Overview:
The HR Business Partner works closely with the business acting as a single point of contact to contribute to the achievement of business objectives. An active member of the leadership team with equal levels of influence and participation. Proactively supporting the delivery of end-to-end HR Processes by engaging with other HR professionals and actively contributing to the delivery of our services.
Responsibilities:
- Contributing to the development & implementation of HR strategy based on global guidelines and considering local specifics
- Contributing to the development of the business strategy within the scope of responsibility
- Challenging strategic business decisions from HR perspective and proposing alternatives where applicable
- Communicating HR strategy in any business context
- Working close with senior management and workforce management team to agree on quantitative and qualitative (skills & capability planning) workforce planning in line with business strategy
- Driving the execution of workforce plans
- Designing, developing, and monitoring initiatives to attract, retain and develop workforce capability and flexibility within the organization, in close alignment with the business and other HR stakeholders
- Be a trusted advisor to the managers of your area in all HR-related questions
- Ensure proper routing and follow-up of topics which are managed within another part of the HR organization cross country
- Take care of requests from managers and employees, guide them thru the correct usage of tooling and provide a high-end employee experience by providing appropriate services to the different stakeholders
- Providing advice to business on how to manage potential legal risks relating to employment matters
- Responsible for execution of talent identification / development processes within the organization in cooperation with Talent Management team within own scope of responsibility
- Ensuring appropriate succession planning process is in place and executed with business
- Responsible for the high-quality realization of performance management process within the scope of responsibility.
- Making sure that “expected standards” are in place and communicated
- Ensuring proper planning and communication of Comp&Ben cycles and activities
- Consult managers in terms of compensation related questions
- Responsible for on-time and within budget execution of the regular cycle for area of responsibility
Required Skills:
- Professional HR qualification (university level) or equivalent
- Proven track record of managing complex people issues, working with the business to manage organizational change, and working strategically
- Strong focus on results and execution
- Strong communication & negotiation skills
- Solid experience in influencing and coaching managers to maintain high business performance through employee motivation
- Team player who thrives in senior surroundings
- Thinks and work beyond local, regional, global and industry HR
- Project Management and ideally change management skills
- Business and financial understanding
- Analytical and agile problem-solving skills
- Understanding labour law
- Excellent German language
